Well, I have achieved one more step on my relentless march to become a Cross-Media Phenomena. My science-fiction story “Breakpoint” will be read live on Kyanite’s Publishing’s Facebook page on Aug. 20 at 8:30 p.m. (Eastern time, U.S.). Then, it will be posted to YouTube for your further entertainment. (I will perma-link YouTube post here when it goes live).
For me, this is a first. I always imagined doing a reading or having someone read or perform one of my pieces. You know, a little bit of the Orson Welles thing. So now, it’s finally going to happen. It will be nice to tune in and hear someone else read the words I wrote.
To get a head start, you can get the story on Kyanite’s “back issues” page here. You’ll want “Volume I, Issue 2.” Anyway, grab some popcorn and tune in on Aug. 20 for the live read by the super-talented staff from Kyanite.

I have also been working and writing over the pandemic. We’ve grown a vegetable garden and I’ve had my first haircut outside. I’m working from home, writing from home, and wearing a mask when I go out (unless it’s on a hike). So, things are almost semi-normal.
Basically, nothing new to report. Living, working, writing. Alright… Hope you tune into the live reading and see you next time!
