Today, my first book, “The Books of Hours” debuts. I’m so excited to share it with the world. Alien Buddha Press has a Spotlight on the book now with some select poems.

I’ve compiled some FAQs on where you can find the book and how to leave a review.
Where can I get the book?
- You can get it on Amazon here.
- Or order it from me directly. Direct Message me on Instagram (@DariusJonesWrit) or Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/dariusxjones), tell me how many copies you want, and I can send them your way. (You can pay via PayPal or personal check).
How/where can I post a review?:
Leave a review on Amazon (the same page where you bought the book), Goodreads, Facebook, Instagram, Bluesky, X/Twitter, or wherever you hang out digitally.
Also, please tell a friend in real life (IRL)!
What should my review say?
It can say whatever you think or feel about the book.
Let me give you one of my friend’s reviews and some samples for you to choose from/populate on your own:
“The Book of Hours interlaces artistry with science to create a nuanced collection that you can feel in your chest. It’s utterly majestic.” – Mercedes M. Yardley, three-time Bram Stoker Award winner.
“The Book of Hours is full of stunning/unique/slightly above-average poems. By turns breath-taking/stunning/bland, and moving/powerful/abject. Highly/Not at all recommended.” – Your Name Here.
“The Book of Hours sucked me in and didn’t let go. Poem after poem left me with a feeling of awe/desolation/wonder/boredom. Poetry at its finest/most intriguing/most prosaic.” – Your Name Here.
OK, go find it and read! …And thanks for your continued support.
Please leave a review if you can and I’ll see you a bit further down the road.
Darius
